In Dec. 2020 I reached out to ExplainerJeeves looking for help creating an explainer video. I talked to Damien Shores (who is NOT a real person btw), and paid my $600+ after being assured they would do a good job for me. After they received my money, the would not respond ... to email, phones call, or even chats via their onsite chat function. This company is a scam! Beware!!!!

Gave them a complete homepage and they hired someone that must not understand English. It was jumbled up, content was wrong and spelling was incorrect. Immediately cancel. David sent refund invoice from different company and Mark Cooper was absolutely rude calling me an old lady and something was wrong with my mind.

AVOID they never delivered on the 3 videos, or website. Out of pocket for all of it. Now I keep getting upsell emails from them. They also try to charge for re-opening an already unfinished project. The fee for unlimited edits then charges additional fees and yet does not complete the video.

I had trusted them with blind eyes, but instead, I been deceived and lied to. I only had agreed to that transaction with the understanding of the mind that I was being told the truth (but it was not the case). DECEPTION: I was being told lies to get me to pay something I would have not paid for if the truth was being told. Therefore, Logo Jeeves stole my money. The $1,000 was a federal student loan to pay for my classes in the spring. Logo Jeeves lied, deceived me to steal that money. I requested my money back many times. They are refusing to give me my money back. They send me a test which reads in part, “money-back guarantee is 100 perfect upon no results & work.” To date, no work has been provided and I have already requested my money back before authorizing anything. I paid the initial fee to create the logo and was contacted about various things they had to offer. I was not interested, finally approved the final draft to be told there was a hefty fee for trademark. I was not in the position to pay the fee and was basically told I cannot have the logo. After countless hours and the back and forth. I finally had enough and told them I was over it, to keep the logo. Adam Fisher basically threaten to have his lawyers sue me and I will be liable to them for a $1000.00. I disputed the item on my credit card and that's when Adam Fisher basically called to harass me. The unprofessionalism of this company and their ability to take advantage of people is unbelievable. I was not given all the information up front with all the fees and felt blindsided after the product was finished. At this point lesson learned!

I have spent the last couple months trying to get over $800 back from Digit Design Studios. I came to them for a logo design for my blog. They held my logo package hostage after I approved the final concept. They told me that I need to pay them $500 to register my logo before they will hand it over. A month went by after I paid them the money, and they were "still working on it" they told me that in order to finish the registration in NV and DC I need to give them $315. I started to get very worried because the last time I spoke to them I had asked for a detailed description of their trademark registration. I asked them for a legal promise/agreement that Digit Design Studios will transfer 100% ownership of the logo (trademark, copyright, etc.), they avoided it and then began to pressure me for personal information so they can finish the registration. I asked them for proof of their work with the USPTO, and they said they couldn't do that and that they couldn't give me a refund when I asked for it because they paid the USPTO but they never provided me a receipt. I tried getting my money back via my card companies and Digit Design Studios lied to them and said that the trademark registration charges were for the logo design and that per their terms and conditions I was not owed a refund. Be very very careful if you work with these people. The will pressure you buy more "services" while simultaneously ignoring your requests. They will not uphold what they advertise on their website. Beware of them especially if you are a newbie looking for a logo like I was, or if your needing website assistance (from what I've read on other reviews). Document everything they say and do, in writing especially, if you decide to work with them.

Please exercise caution. This is not a reputable company and will not deliver on specs. Impossible to contact. Unexpected upcharges along development.

The company never did what they promised. They took money for both a website and hosting. The website they delivered was unusable at all. I gave examples with screen prints and pictures and nothing ever came back as I requested. I just gave up as I kept pouring time in and getting nothing out. Each time it came back worse than before. I could have just done it in WordPress myself. I finally asked them to just provide me a refund. It was my fault for going with them so I told them just give me the hosting fee back and they said that they would but I have not seen that. It is now just the principle of the matter that they offer this 100% money back and they never live up to it. I got nothing but stiffed on the whole deal. These people will steal from you if given the opportunity.

We hired Visual Design Inc to do an update and give our website and logo a fresh look. We sent over detailed documentation as to what we were looking for with numerous examples. The first drafts came over and they were in far left field from anything that we had asked for. We sent back notes with even more examples and details with what we were looking for. We received 4 logo choices and we were told that's all we had to choose. None of them were out of this world but do able so because we felt forced, we picked one. The second round of edits came - and again, nowhere close to what we had requested. Same with the third round after even more details and explaining what we wanted both in email and over the phone. We spoke with James and said that obviously there was a disconnect with understanding what we were wanting can we please just cancel the order and process a refund. He wasn't having it. He wanted us to give them just 'one more chance'... we put it in writing that it wasn't working out and per their 100% satisfaction guarantee and we would like a refund. Keep in mind - we paid Visual Design Inc over $2500 for this IN FULL. After they refused, we disputed it with our bank. We found out about 2 weeks later that the dispute was settled in their favor. This was April 9, 2020. I found out later on that they supplied FALSE documentation that we still owed them money and supposed proof that we received the digital product that they promised. Which we downloaded their drafts that had watermarks on it and was not even in the format that we needed.Since we were out the funds and our bank wasn't helpful - I decided to try and get SOMETHING for the money we spent. I contacted Visual Design Inc and was told that in order to work with me/my company again we would have to pay them an ADDITIONAL $650 due to the fact that they hired an attorney because of the dispute. I was trying to be professional and courteous when I spoke with James on the phone and explained that we no longer needed the services and that I would agree to deduct the 'Lawyer Fee' from what we paid if they would just refund the rest. Considering we were still taking a loss, I thought it was a reasonable ask. I was told that he would pass it up to management and would get back to me. After 2 weeks of not hearing back - I sent yet another offer of the lawyer fee plus an additional 30% for them to keep... still, radio silence. Two weeks went by and no update. I would call and get sent to voicemail. I would chat on their website and when I said my name/company the chat was disconnected. Emails were read (which I have proof of) and never responded to. I finally called from a friend's cell phone and managed to get through on one of the many numbers that they have. Since it was a different number, I wasn't blocked and sent straight to voicemail. I was told that since they had been dealing with my husband it was HIS MONEY and they weren't going to discuss anything with me. It didn't matter that my name was on the account as well or anything else - the bottom line was I was a female and they weren't going to deal with me. I went and got my husband on the phone and they seemed like they were going to work with him. He just asked for something to show for the money that we paid them. Here we are again over a month later... all numbers disconnected, mailboxes full, no return calls or emails. If you actually want a quality product and service... keep looking. Visual Design Inc is not the company for either. And I am sure that they will discredit this review by saying that I am not a customer or something outrageous like that - but I am happy to upload my receipts, and over 30 pages of email correspondence to prove otherwise.
