We are a law firm/debt collection agency based in New York City and we have hired CodeBright to create a software web application for us to streamline & automate the complex debt collection process, make us more effective & efficient as well as transition from paper records to digital records. In the beginning we just had a general direction of where we want to go and what we want to see with no specifics. CodeBright team took our idea and turned it first into a blueprint, interactive wire-frame and then a graphic design (which was approved by us). Throughout the development process we've got regular progress updates from Andrey (the manager) and we knew everything was going according to the plan. Now that the development of the application is completed and the app has gone through the quality control- we are about start using the web app and are planning to at least double our volume in 2018.We are not particularly tech savvy so it was important for us to find a software development company we can trust, that will not cut corners and do the right thing (especially since we deal with sensitive information in our practice). CodeBright went above and beyond what we agreed on to make sure to get the best first version of the application for us and get a smooth start. Can't wait to start on the next version of our web application to add more features which we know will make us so much more competitive! We are a DC based home improvement company that has been operating since 1963. We've used a custom built desktop software developed in Microsoft Access 2003 to run our entire production/back office for the company. (i.e. calculate the profitability of every job, salesmen's/crew's commissions and payroll, payments and receivables, vendors remittance etc). Over the years the software became unreliable, obsolete and unsupportable... I’ve worked with this team at my corporate job a while back, they have done an amazing job! Now I run my own tech consulting firm- I’ve brought CodeBright team back on!With the product they’ve built for us- we are able to automate 85% of our recruiting work! The virtual assistant (bot) they’ve built for us gets a job description, goes to all the different websites, scans resumes and reaches out to the most fitting candidates by email, Facebook, LinkedIn. Then the bot conducts pre-screening interviews by asking all the right questions and it can hold a few thousand conversations at the same time! After everyone was interviewed- the bot gives us the Top 5, Top 10, Top 20 lists. Once we know the actual interview candidates- our bot contacts the selected candidates for the next round of interviews! The product went through the beta phase and we are happy the way it currently works! We are planning to continue to improve the system with the help of CodeBright and look for other ways we can put technology to good use, to solve problems!

Company was tasked with development of a brand new site based on WordPress. Company was provided another reference site and old site location on WordPress.com. New site was developed timely. Only improvement could have been that new site should have been developed from scratch. The developer copied the old site and as a result some bad code and old template from the old site on WordPress.com remains in the new site. It was not a big deal, but was only apparant when someone technical customizes the site, without asking the developer for help.

When we spoke to them, they were polite and respectful yet it was very difficult to get work done correctly on time. Their original proposal suggested that it would take about two weeks to complete the website. We added nothing outside of the proposal yet it was a struggle through the entire process. It took seven months to go live but another month later, we still had issues. Ultimately, they were unable to finish satisfactorily, so we had to hire another firm to complete the project.

As a startup, our choice was between building our own development team or outsourcing. The problem in building a team in the San Francisco Bay Area is that it is so competitive to find developers. So we and our CTO made the decision to partner with an outsource development firm. We vetted firms from US, Ukraine, Italy, Uruguay, China, India, Pakistan, and Cheesecake in Brazil. We chose Cheesecake because we were communicating directly with the project manager that we work with today. There was no salesperson between us and the development team. They send their developers to Apple WWDC and others and are current on the latest technologies. They've created some really cool apps for other Silicon Valley startups and the site for Singularity University.They were nearshore (4-hour time zone difference). They use all of the right collaboration tools - Slack, Trello, etc to communicate. We met our project manager Antonio in person while he was in San Francisco. Till date, we've had over 800 code commits, multiple releases of the app and the iOS app works flawlessly. We are now building a responsive web version using React JS so that our website works like our app and we get to Android faster.

3iLogics was easy to work with. They took my designs and brought them to life. The project actually went better than I had originally anticipated. When I came to them with my website plan still in the earliest of stages, I didn't have much confidence that the project was going to be a success. There was so many things to do and I wasn't all that well-organized but with the help and patience of the 3iLogics team my website was fully operational in no time. The development team is very experienced in their skills. The team manager is very polite and courteous to your needs. There were a few nights the team didn't sleep just so that my site would be done on time. At the end of the project they were still as prompt to address my final bugs as they were to start the project. Giving 3iLogics the designs and explaining to them how the site needed to function was not an easy task. My site consists entirely of custom PHP code and when I gave 3iLogics the original code it was a nightmare. A big mess. But like I said now it's completely organized and the site is flawless. The developers that used to work there are hard working, they were in-experienced. With that in mind, the code architecture is poor and incredibly unstable. The app was delayed and the company will make you rely on you to test the app to ensure there are no bugs (even when they charge you an additional cost for testing). The owner of the company is greedy and rude and will blame you for significant delays even when they were due to poor resources on their side. THEY ALSO DIDN’T DELIVER THE FULL CODE THEY PROMISED. Unless you are okay waiting over 6 months for your project to be complete, are happy to overpay for a project, you have time to undertake your own QA automation and you are happy to have this company steal from you, avoid Mendios Technologies. I have never negatively reviewed a company before.

We provided Mendios Technologies with the PRD and mockups. They produced the wireframes, helped with design, and developed the Android and iOS apps. They were able to take an idea from conception to product in an organized and efficient way. They incorporated our feedback along the way.
