Our start up "SameCondition" hired Codal in 2017 to build a software platform. The project was supposed to be completed in 9 months by Codal. More than 2 years down the lane, our project is still stuck up with Codal. However, we have already paid them more than 90 percent of the amount. Thus, Codal has been just sitting on it as they do not have the technical capabilities to take our project to a technical conclusion. Codal tried to force a half cooked product on us. The platform was full of bugs and technical inadequacies. When we expressed our repeated concerns, they just stopped communicating with us. SameCondition had to hire an attorney in Chicago to take the matter forward. They kept playing games with our attorney rather than acting fairly. So much frustrated with Codal's antics, we had to finally slap a lawsuiton Codal in May 2019. Thus, this is their approach: as a business, Codal should have been fair ion its dealings. Their technical incompetence to build our project was more than obvious. But, Codal thought when huge amount of bills has already been paid by our company, why to worry about them!! Very unethical approach.

We hired Itexus’ developers because we were looking to outstaff a part of our client’s development to keep our devs on the internal projects. The needed team extension for now is three .Net developers, but it’s easy to scale up if needed. They work with our mobile team under the control of our PM. I have worked with Jalvin and his team on multiple projects over the past 3 years. There are several things that stand out to me. First and foremost is the level of professionalism. I am also impressed with how communication is handled. For example, for anyone that has ever built an app and had to wireframe or mockup designs and workflows, you WANT input that addresses best business practice implementation, etc. Honestly, I don't have to stress about there being clear understanding on requirements. We were looking for a company which had a lot of experience in building web & mobile apps. Scalan Labs provided end-to-end product engineering consulting from a product idea to fruition. We engaged them to build a mobile app and a backend application for our internal use. We started with their Principal Consultant in the capacity of writing detailed functional and non-functional specifications and wireframing the entire project. This discovery phase helped us in identifying the gaps in our requirement, essentially meeting our objectives and product goals. Post the discovery phase, we signed the project with Scalan Labs to complete the project in 3 months. They were very cooperative and accomodated several changes without charging us extra. Being a startup, it was critical for us to stay within the budget.Over all, the project was completed in 4-4.5 months, as we had gone through few changes. No complains, we were 100% satisfied with the final output and highly recommend the group for any web or mobile based projects.
