AddyPin - Consagous team overall rating is mostly on the very good side, they need a strong Product/Project Manager to get things going right and I myself could get very good quality, but that was mostly at the cost of time where I had to be resourceful, explain often more than once where and how to solve problems. The team need to be more focused, diligent, and enhance their communication. Time wasted on repeated jobs could be reduced by at least third if more focus and proactivity is considered. The way from Good to Great is not far for them."First Generation Farmers" - I had the pleasure to work with Consagous on the second project after a web-app. FGF project was a total makeover for an agriculture website using WP theme. Had 2 linked developments running in parallel in different languages. Great start with ideas and design and whilst one went well, the quality of the other was POOR. Had to swap out a developer due to slow work, introducing errors, unacceptable performance. Even ended up with me designing part of the solution. We eventually agreed that all new dev would be on hold until bugs were fixed. Bugs were never resolved but they said my credit had expired, effectively taking almost EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS from me for nothing!!Absolutely disgusted in the way they have behaved. No morals!!!DO NOT USE THEM

I had always wanted to build SimpleStudy into a true educational platform. Yet, without the technical experience or expertise that really was not possible for me. I looked through over 50 applications before choosing Anand and his team, and I do not think I could have made a better decision. Digital tech firms are everywhere, but often they market themselves a lot better than they can actually work. Yet, Anand and his team have an honest work ethic that I appreciate, and there was real finesse in all work and communication we had. Obviously, building a system like this in any company entails significant work, yet from the ensemble of Anand's work I would say their growing company has a clear mark of success. I demanded many changes and little alterations throughout the process that were fixed promptly and efficiently. Despite the time zone difference and my travels they always managed to accommodate me. And over the months we have worked on this I have been increasingly impressed by the details they pick up on. Their experience has lead to a really great finished product. Despite enthusiasm from Vinfotech at the beginning, this project has been a significant failure. Vinfotech have never produced a credible plan for the project and the sales team seem willing to make whatever commitments they can to secure the deal without seeing if they're achievable or not. The overall brief was due to be completed on the 6th of March and we're still bug fixing the first release from February. I estimate we're only about 20-25% of the way through the project. Each release comes with very high levels of defects which are only identified during customer testing. They do not demonstrate strong skills in project management, environment management, regression testing, user journey mapping, documenting requirements. They are a waterfall shop who have not demonstrated understanding or implementation of Agile techniques, scrum or modern software development methods. Their own internal system for managing communications and requests from customers is largely empty with issues raised mostly ignored unless multiple escalations are made. Within the organisation, there are unclear lines of accountability for the project, with various teams holding the other teams responsible for account management. Sadly, I have requested a contract renegotiation with the CEO who has been unresponsive.

I had the opportunity to involve Five Exceptions Software Solution (FESS) in the implementation of a new Mobile App for iOS and Android. The App required strong experience in the geo-positioning of cars and real time speed-position-distance calculation. We started with a very detailed functional specification from which FESS was able to quickly understand the requirements and to derive technical specs autonomously. Despite some initial troubles on optimizing the algorithm for distance, speed and average speed calculation, FESS went definitely extra miles on code refinement and bug resolution and actively contributed to the submission of the App to Apple Store and Google Play. The App was completed on time and budget for a major car event and succeeded to provide the expected services despite it was installed on several untested devices and with no significant issues. FESS is still involved in the Phase 2 of the implementation project which includes the deployment of new features and enhancements. Definitely appreciated the skill-set and the rational and calm approach to problem solving of their Project Lead Roshan Parmar.
