I hired Zealous Systems to handle a site migration for me and build membership site functionality for my Wordpress website. While they managed to migrate my data from my old platform successfully, including my podcast and content, they failed to execute the functionality agreed in the scope of work. The membership site coding they created for me kept breaking down, resulting in many of my clients and site visitors complaining about a confusing registration process that I flagged with Zealous again and again. They never managed to fix it, even after going back and forth about it with them for over 12 months. To make matters worse, they left most of the QA site testing with me, rather than taking the lead on ensuring no errors existed in their coding. When I did these checks, I regularly found sloppy errors, typos, and design flaws. Working with Zealous was hugely time consuming and a big waste of money. They also refused to acknowledge their mistakes even after the next team I hired summarised all the errors in their coding. I will never work with Zealous again, and I would recommend you steer clear of their company.

We narrowed down Rootquotient from 3 shortlisted vendors mainly because of their ability to translate the tech jargon into non-technical language which helped us to understand the implementation in better terms. Expectations and project milestones were set during the project kickoff and explained their process flow in layman terms. Project management and communication skills proved their ability to explain the progress in simple terms for us to understand, scheduling regular meetings and updates. In addition, the team had a clear understanding of our rigid schedule and ensured delivery was made on budget.The project that we wanted to develop was a compatibility matching tool for the participants of the show. It involved mapping of their several characteristics and analyze their behaviors to arrive up on a score. Some additional functionalities were added as suggested by the team which was not foreseen by us as a needed requirement. This proved their expertise in the development of digital platforms. We originally approached Macadamian to help us with a development project with an aggressive schedule that we could not adequately staff with current resources. This short-term project turned into a long-term valuable relationship that has grown based on our development needs. Over the years, Macadamian has augmented our development staff with a quality set of engineers and services. They are not a resource shop, but instead a software development company that can participate in the entire development process (concept, design, implementation and test). Macadamian's development staff has proven to be very flexible and a very good cultural fit for us. Their team members easily adapted to our Agile/Scrum process instead of asking us to conform to their development methodology. Their developers are also very easy to work with and well-liked by our internal development staff. We have found Macadamian's engineers to be very skilled and able to produce high-quality software. Macadamian brought to the table a team that was very well versed in our C#/.Net/Web technology stack and hit the ground running from day one which meant there was no need to train them on how to develop software. Macadamian developers are also very comfortable working remotely with our internal development teams. There was no productivity loss due to not being located in the same facility as our core teams. We have found team turn-over with Macadamian to be very low. This is a very important trait for us in a solid vendor. Training new developers on the application code-base is a very expensive undertaking. The low turn-over allows us to maximize on our time investment and has been key in our long-term relationship. Finally, Macadamian's sales staff has been a pleasure to work with over the years. They listen to our needs and have always been very accommodating with our requests. They are very professional and not looking to constantly upsell us on additional services. We started our collaboration with Fintegro in January 2020. We were provided with a personal account manager for the beginning. Afterward, they asked us to provide all the technical and non-technical position requirements, location(from 3 locations Canada, LatAm and Europe, we preferred Europe), etc. It actually made our search a bit more effective. Then we agreed on specific expectations and they started working on our case, each week we had a meet-up to summarize the work done and the results on a weekly basis. In total, we hired a team of 6 persons: Interim CTO, Web Designer, Full Stack developer, two QA Engineers (Manual and Automation) and Project Manager. Recruiting services were provided in a professional manner. The candidates' quality was great and we saved a lot of time and money not evaluating the non-relevant ones as we had to do with the other vendors. From my experience, it was the first time someone did this so precisely and effectively."

TactikMedia takes an innovative approach to digital communications enabling us to better connect with our customers with tools to measure that engagement. Their only small downside is to sharpen their internal administration to bring that to the same 5 star service as their offerings. Laurie Bennett is our Project Leader with TactikMedia and we cannot speak too highly of her, great work ethic, takes time to understand the content and has worked with third party organisations in terms of technical specifications for materials etc. Overall we score TactikMedia 4.75 Stars and totally recommend them.
