The Rootstrap team continues to prove that are a leader when it comes to understanding our business, immediate needs and sharing in our success. We are currently working to expand our footprint in the market by increasing awareness of our brand and getting more users of our apps.Our internal team had some initial ideas but really wanted to get some insight from Rootstrap. We provided them with minimal information - "We have an app, we are brand new, just finished the MVP etc." and they ran with it. Shaun Kennedy, Andrea Fajardo and Patrick Ward came back to me in a week with some great ideas that require minimal effort and will most likely get us the best results. Based on the higher standards of quality we needed. They provide us specialized resources for every type of testing, that is something that many other providers do not offer.Years ago we used to work with others software testing companies, but now we are working only with QAlified.Most of the projects are web and mobile solutions, all of them with interoperability with third party services. QAlified and Brightest have been working together since the beginning of 2019 to set up a global IT certification scheme focused on performance testing. The contents were created by the Performance Testing United committee, and we collaborated with the PtU Board, SQA Advisory in the USA, and QAlified to set it up and make it available to the IT community throughout the world. Brightest GmbH is a global IT exam provider based in Berlin, Germany. The Certified Performance Tester with JMeter (CPTJM) certification has been launched and developped globally in Spanish and English, thanks to our wonderful collaboration with the QAlified team. We will be looking forward to seeing where else this collaboration will take us!

Codigo del Sur was responsive, timely and most of the coders were very experienced and provided good code with few original errors. Their understanding (in English) of some complex concepts was very good so we had no qualms about discussing any technical issues with them. They never tried to play the funny and obstructive games that some software developers use but listened carefully to all discussions and responded as I would expect a professional group should do. I would recommend them anytime.

It is very stable with less than 2% of crashes.The project was initially planned for Android, We expect to get more funds soon to start developing the iOS version.They’ve assigned a project manager, a UI/UX specialist, a backend developer, and one or two front end developers. I've been a happy client of Sophilabs for many years. I turn to them over and over again for new projects because I've found them to be exceptionally smart, extremely reliable, and very flexible to our business needs. They cover our whole stack: Python / Django, Javascript / React, and all of the tooling in between. They serve as sysadmins for us when needed. They jump in to respond if there's any high priority or urgent work that is needed. And their location in Uruguay makes it extremely easy to work with them from the US because the time zone overlap is so great. I strongly recommend working with them!

Sophilabs set themselves apart from other teams by providing ongoing training to their team and a strong onboarding program. This gave the team members very similar backgrounds as far as solving coding challenges and coding styles. This meant that when an engineer left or moved to another project (as invariably occurs during extended projects), a new engineer could easily pick up where the old dev left off. This was critical to us to keep projects on schedule and budget.Sophilabs was also very helpful through the entire dev cycle, from enforcing standards and code coverage, through assisting QA and pushing code to production.

Hired Octobot to help develop a user survey tool targeting the medical field. Needed a robust solution which could handle text/speech/graphical data. Found Octobot while interviewing a number of agencies with experience in Python/Django, but also skilled at design/UX. The team was great and I felt like I had a reliable partner at my side. I've dealt with offshore firms before and it typically comes at a price in terms of quality, design and communication. None of this applied to Octobot- very reasonable pricing and flexibility compared to US firms, with a great product at the end and a process that made my job easy.

Octobot helped us to build the MVP in the initial stages of our company. Communication with the team was very efficient, time zones work perfectly with Europe. Octobot reacted always promptly to issues. We worked with a team of 3-4 developers, who got themselves pretty involved with our value proposition and added a business Outlook, this is probably Octobot's greatest asset, they go that extra mile that lets you feel your business is in good hands. We've worked with four different outsourced development groups and OneTree is tops. STRENGTHS:Partner Mentality. OneTree has a very strong partner mentality. They are willing to take responsibility when they make mistakes, or don't meet expectations. They will regularly ask how they are doing, and seek feedback on how to improve. Then actually implement the feedback and loop back with us to report improvements or changes made. Responsive to our Needs. They are responsive, talented, and willing to put forth the effort to achieve goals and priorities to meet deadlines. There are multiple times where their developers will work after hours to solve issues or meet deadlines. This is invaluable to getting things done. Quality of Output. They have talented developers who do a thorough job. The key is to provide thorough user stories, which drives the quality of the output from developers. The more thorough the user story, the more efficient the output from developers. They really are a talented bunch of developers. Time Zone. One benefit, as well, is their time zone aligns well with our time zone. WEAKNESSES:Strategy. OneTree is great as a developer partner, but the client needs to define and communicate a strong strategic direction about where they want to take their business and technology stack. Once OneTree understands this direction, they are a great making it happen. Think of OneTree as your execution partner.Product Manager. We've found that we need to be the Product Manager and own the user experience of our website in-house while utilizing OneTree as our development team. This means we need to have a strong understanding of trends in our market, understanding the customer journey on our site, identifying points of frictions, and what we need to do to be on the cutting edge. We come up with the roadmap and then utilize OneTree to execute the roadmap. QA. Generally OneTree QA does an excellent job finding issues. However, at times, issues or errors will slip through and we catch them on our end. This can be frustrating if a ticket is on a tight timeline.
