The UX for moving and editing it just painful so many inconsistencies. [Updated for v7.7] After some solid progress the latest version has done what I would have though impossible and actually made block navigation even worse. Where the hell has the view page link gone too! It’s like one step forward, three back!
[Updated for 8.1] Seems business as usual, block navigation continues to be worst in class as other breaking changes rain down. I’m literally giving up on trying to keep up now until there is some sort of stability.
With all it’s promise and the unquestionably incredible amount of effort that’s gone in I still can’t believe how much of a dumpster fire Gutenberg still is.
[Updated for 8.2.1] Good lord, weird CSS and breaking changes to markup galore – hands down the worst, most unstable page editor I have ever had the misfortune to use.

There are issues around logging in that seem related to cross site origin issues, it doesn’t work at all in Safari for example and without whitelisting most newer browsers will not work either.
Once in, options and styling tools are extremely limited. I’m struggling to see the value of this plugin beyond a data grab device for ‘Trust’ Pilot.

It’s really concerning this plugin was considered ready for release

Simple, extensible, clean and lightweight.

Since the update to comply with instagram API changes there’s been a steady stream of issues and bugs. Even on the latest version [1.6.5] I now have a 404 error for the jr-insta.js script, there’s a broken image on the plugin setting page and viewing any accounts images other than the authorised account still doesn’t work – if it’s due to the API change then just remove it since it’s pointless being there!

I landed here since the Gutenberg Query Loop is so limited at actually querying the loop it’s practically useless.
Anyway, in terms of PostX:
Pros
Allows you to filter and display pretty much anything
Cons
Weird approach to inserting the loop, basically multiple blocks which are different layouts of the same block is just bizarre.
Cannot create your own layouts
Cannot nest other blocks [I suspect since it’s likely based on a shortcode generator at it’s core]
Loads of setting you’ll never need, e.g line height etc which should be universal. If you’re using them then you’re building a site in the wrong way.

After some interactions with support I’ve managed to get the integration working but I’m sticking with one star. Taxable products are not handled correctly so pricing is wrong and there is no way to override. Descriptions are not pulled through either. The plugin verges on pointless.

This is based solely upon the WordPress admin element I can use which is poor. It seems the signup process is a couple of steps but since it’s a tab view with a couple of panes this is unclear. Documentation does actually exist but for some reason it’s not reference on the plugin pages…. I cannot rate the integration functionality since I’ve been unable to connect with constant contact.

This is still a handy plugin with a couple of must have features I use regularly. My main concerns are the increasing bloat of additional features I do not need. The original ethos was a focused plugin providing some missing features now there are more and more bolt on’s including around Typography which was previously an add on that I never wanted or want a user anywhere near.
The addition of Extendify, which is still not dealt with in satisfactory way in my opinion, is a step too far. I think if should be an opt-in at install, certainly not on by default or managed via a per user basis. Making me 50/50 on keeping this plugin in my default install list since I can’t see the feature set being simplified anytime soon.

Like Gutenberg itself, this is beta software and I wouldn’t recommend it on anything beyond a simple store. Any custom actions or filters you may have created won’t work with these blocks so get ready to learn a whole new, and more drawn out, way of working. I added the plugin to a couple of customer sites so they could try it out, support requests went through the roof and we had to switch off again. Promising by nowhere near ready for primetime.
