A feature of Gutenberg block editor that is rather hidden.
Reusable blocks is a such promising feature of Gutenberg.

Dissapointing

I had installed this plugin trying to build a membership site.

My goal was to combine it with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and control/limit the number of posts a member could publish based on his subscription plan.

I started testing the Free version, but it didn’t support ACF integration.
So I bought the Pro version.

But the Pro version had realy no support for a valid invoicing and payment gateways.
So I bought also the Business version that could integrate with Paid Memberships Pro.

What was the result?

Disaster.

Apart from the integration with Advanced Custom Fields and easy creation of submit forms, nothing else worked as expected.

You could set limits in the backend, that were not applied in the frontend. Users could post as much as they wanted.

And also there was the famous 1970 year problem, with no idea of the cause.

I contacted support. I have to admit that they replied every time.

The problem was that most of the times, the answer was not solving any problem. So I stopped bothering them. It was a waste of time.

End of the story, after many tries and digging into the code, I have uninstalled all versions of this plugin.

After loosing a month of time and money, I ended up creating a solution using ACF’s functionality, custom coding and utilizing Paid Memberships Pro.

Prior to posting this review, I have informed them.

For me so far, this was the worst experience with a WP free to paid plugin.

+15 years to other CMSs and web design
I have created many sites and eshops using WP without problems.
Thats why I trusted the Pro and Business editions of this plugin.

WordPress has a Forum plugin!

I am really impressed with this forum plugin.

It looks like developers thought every feature a modern forum must have.

Integration of paid plugins was without any problems.

So was the translation to Greek using .po & .mo files.

Everything so far works great.
