I’ve tested the various plugins available and this one worked best for my needs. The important things for me were: simplicity, beautiful design and clarity.
I am particularly pleased with the Live Search feature and the navigation widget.

However, this plugin creates two WordPress admin sub-menus, although one should be completely sufficient.

Best cf7 database

I’ve tested several databases for cf7, this is the one I’m going for. It’s simple to use, has lots of features (editing or deleting submissions, export/import, several shortcodes, …)
There’s just one annoying thing: The plugin just displays 10 submissions at a time, which is really not that much. You have to edit this under “show record” or add a custom filter.

Easy and beautiful

This pugin is easy to use, easy to customize and looks perfect. Exactly what I needed. Unfortunately there are some Error-Messages (e.g. Please enter the email you registered with.) you can’t costumize.

I think it’s Timline Express is a great plugin. It is easy to use and looks nice.

Things I really like and what I did not found in other plugins I tested:
– individual time slots per day
– nice design
– easy to set up (although its a bit confusing in the beginning)
– configurable submission form

Things that could be better:
– There is no custom css class for the first row (so its not possible to style these cells comfortable)

Simple, works well, just perfect for me.
Some tips:
With the Plugin User Role Editor you can add a role like view_private_file and choose which user roles can access it. You can also redirect to a access denied page. Just modify in the Plugin file the function send_private_file like this:

    }

So easy and nice

I really love this plugin.
But I had some issues with the icons in the top right corner but i was able to fix it with some css:
