I have a couple of sites and this plugin is on all of them. It is unbelievable how good this plugin is. love the new hack protection excellent firewall very secure so far. I haven’t had any issues with other plugins or my themes wp login rename is a really nice feature. If you are looking for a secure firewall then this is it… great support and stays on top of updates. I am very happy with Simple Security Firewall.

I’ve been using this plugin for a while now. Paul G has been very kind and helped me with all my questions. I’m so trusting with this plugin that I’ve translated it in Finnish-language too. Every day I check the Audit trail-page and allways there are plenty of unwanted visitors trying to mess with my site. WPSF has up to now allways been able to stop those hostile visitors. Hands down the best slider for wordpress in terms of clean quality code, usability and compatibility. Holding back the Carousel until the $99 plan is just plain extortion . That being said, the $99 package is well worth the money if you want/need those addons. You will need knowledge of CSS to get control of the text layer but that is part of the reason this slider is so lean and fast. You can´t run a wordpress site without this plugin. It is almost so I think this plugin should be built in to WordPress. You need it to get rid of a lot of spam comments.

With Free Standard Version, you can only create up to 3 albums. I can understand paid features, but this free plugin is very disabled. On top of this it uploads images to its own directory instead of using the built in WordPress media editor.

Paid my money and within minutes I was up and running. However had a problem with my wordpress installation (my fault) sent a suport request. Answered in short time and issue resolved, what more would you want from support? As for the plugin, got to say I am a complete novice at this but it is so easy to use I had uploaded 129 albums within a few hours. tried to create a simple 2 column gallery and was limited to one option, which isn’t responsive on mobile. Seemed to be a neat plugin at first sight. However, the wysiwyg editor stopped working for my blog posts. The editor becomes white/blank and therefore useless… Deactivating the rating-widget plugin makes my wysiwyg editor working again. Another issue: sometimes it takes long to make connection with the rating-widget server, which makes the stars invisible at the page. Wanted to give it 2 stars here, but that should mean it ‘works’. In my case it doesn’t work, since I can’t use my wysiwyg editor anymore. Therefore 1 star. UPDATE ====== When using default theme Fourteen, the problem seems to be gone. Changed rating to a 4 star.

What was I thinking when I purchased pro after not being satisfied with the basic version of this plugin? I purchased it with PayPal, the only option and didn’t see that this developer is not even PayPal seller verified. I was directed back to their website, had to register and put the invoice number in and it shows that the order is “processing”. When clicked on further, it says that if I want to continue processing the order, I have to pay, and it sends me right back to PayPal to pay again. This is an indication of the lack of support and carelessness of the developer. The free version has too many limitations for me but it worked fairly well. It’s probably why their are 286 five star reviews currently, because it’s free and good enough. The pro is apparently a hornet’s nest of trouble. PS: I am so new to WordPress. Apparently I gave this guy 5 stars while writing a negative review. Maybe other did too. On editing, I can’t change my rating. I expected to be able to it as I do elsewhere. Ooops.

There are numerous ANNOYING English spelling mistakes in the PHP which make this look amateurish, but you can easily fix these yourself in the plugin’s PHP source files on your server, to make it look professional. The actual code is good.

I was at my wits end trying to migrate a site from a terrible hosting company to us. I tried sFTP with regular favoutes of mine like Backup Buddy and Duplicator Pro. It never send the whole zip file. I tried downloading to my local computer (expected arrival 3 days) I spent a whole day on this… Migrate Guru had it sorted in 15 mins and that experience was so easy. I owe you!

The support team of this plugin is absolutely amazing. If you are trying to decide what review plugin to get. GET THIS ONE. I bought the paid version and it was about as close to a hand coded look as you can get they helped when I got stuck and when my theme just wasn’t working correctly with the plugin. AMAZING PRODUCT!

I’ve dealt with the increased marketing push. Going from 1 simple screen to multiple tabs (where the logs — i.e. the important data — are now further obscured) among all the other “Cloud security” stuff. I get that you’re a business. But moving the plugin from the “Settings” tab to the top-level admin nav — for no obvious reason — is the final straw. The free version limits the number of login attempts as expected. It would be nice if it disallowed an IP address forever if it had been locked out for 24 hours twice. The Pro version does have a feature similar feature that keeps increasing the lockout time. The Pro version also prevents brute force attacks.

So I’ve been searching and searching to find a simple – non logging in situation where a user can share a picture and have it post on a user submitted category page. Seems like this one would work, it’s got it so you can have it go just to the file you intend and it seems to work on the outside. But when I plugged it in, the images wouldn’t share, only the post would! So I went searching to find out whats up and all I find is a bunch of people throwing code around like its frekn candy! I have no idea what the hell any of it means and I’m a webmaster for a living! Why is it that I need to plug in additional code to a plugin and the plugin not tell me I need too? If so why do you have this available to the general public and their blogs? You should take your code to an open source site if your going to pull this kind of party! GREAT IDEA DUDE, but you earn a FAIL on my end. I don’t understand it and it frustrates the crap out of me because there is just crap for user submitted image plugins! I mean am I wrong here? I did see others complaining about the image part of this too, why did you release this if it’s so buggy man? So what’s the deal? Tutorial maybe??

While securing my website by blocking access to wp-admin folder, i accidentally disabled client-side slimstat analytics. I opened a case with them (as a free plugin user, that is!) and got a to-the-point response in a matter of a few hours. Unbelievable and well worth this review as my token of appreciation. B.t.w.; you need to grant access to /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php for slimstat to work with (default) client side statistics.

Product Feed PRO for WooCommerce is a great plugin! The free version is a very basic version and doesn’t include everything but definitely more than you’d expect in a free product feed plugin. The support for free users also exceeded our expectations & their updates always coming timeously and effectively. I definitely recommend this plugin and depending on the size of what you are doing with it, the free version is more than sufficient.

The product didn’t work out of the box, which is understandable and could happen. Simply put (at least in my case), the plug-in does not trigger the right ID on the product page, so there is no match in the plug-in Facebook generated catalog. Support (Eva) was very unhelpful, so I reached out to Facebook, and got this answer: “The reason your Content IDs are not being matched correctly between your Catalog and Pixel is because the data on your website is for Product_Group, but the numbers are actually Product_IDs. Every product developer could learn a lesson from Justin, because while this plugin has a tiny feature set, it’s the core of tons of sites that have used it to do amazing things. More than 100,000 sites have used it, for good reason. The plugin lets you create roles (and define the associated rights) and lets you protect content to those roles. That’s it. Two features. And yet, those two features, with a couple of additional free plugins, let me build a membership site in less than 20 minutes. I’m serious, I timed it. 19:56. I should have recorded it. Anyway, here are three reasons you’ll love it. First, because it is scoped tightly, it can be used with many different plugins. You’ll notice that the Nav Menu Roles plugin doesn’t know anything about Members, but works with it cleanly because all it knows is that it is protecting menu items by the role that is already configured in WordPress. It doesn’t know who created it or is managing it, and it doesn’t matter. Members just does it’s thing. Second, it doesn’t get in the way of what you’re doing, or try to do too much. There is no question that Justin knows what he’s doing and knows the “WordPress way” to integrate his plugin into the core of the WordPress code. So it snaps into place easily and effectively but doesn’t overreach and try to do too much. The result? You can use PayPal, Stripe, or anything else to collect payment and Members doesn’t care. It will simply do the two things it’s meant to do, and let you do the rest on your own. Thirdly, If you’re trying to build something complicated, you’re likely going to use this as a baseline and build other features around it. That’s why this is a developer-favorite.

Hi All, I had a need for this type of tool in the back of my mind for some time, now finally it had reared it’s ugly head, and at first I was like shit, i’m pooched trying to figure out how to do this whole ‘who can see what’ scenario. And fortunately, this plug in is EXACTLY what i needed, super clean, super powerful, super easy to work with. My buddy had offered up some great custom code to manage custom roles in the function file, but damn, I don’t want to muck around in there if I’m being honest. I’d much rather click a check box then make sure i have an ending bracket or colon… yikes. Anyway super happy, and must reward the author for his hard work and DONATE! ????

You can select options to avoid posts by category or tag type but you can’t disallow pages. So if you don’t want your ‘private policy’ or pages that are behind a login to be listed, you can’t manually exlude them.

This plugin is the best free form builder by far! I have researched many but this is so easy to use. Yes, 1 user did mention it has no recaptcha and that is probably the only thing lacking BUT it does have a BOT HONEYPOT so do I really need a recaptcha? Time will tell… Recaptcha is something I do not want to display but in the past it has been necessary… I would rate this app a million stars but I was only allowed to click 5 stars above. Try it. I am SURE you will LOVE IT. I think this will soon become a premium product it really is at that standard.

I first discovered this plugin when bundled with a ThemeForest template. In getting the calculated field form finalized to specific client guidelines required several visits to online support. The quality and speed of the responses, as well as patient answers to noob questions, prompted me to purchase the pro version, even though what was bundled was the free version and I could have downloaded a separate free version for use with other unbundled WordPress templates. The support provided by the “codepeople” is worth the price…never a question asked if you own an upgrade or are a free user. Try getting support for a CodeCanyon plugin you haven’t purchased yet…you’ll get the point.

This worked for me right away. Easy to configure and looks good. Being able to add conditions that control when and where the popup works is a super feature. One of the best free plugins I’ve used. Thanks! UPDATE: I just had to lower this two stars. It doesn’t work that well on mobile. The popup fills the mobile screen and the close button can’t be found. If there were a condition that allowed mobile devises to be excluded from the popup I would give it back another star. But since so much traffic is on mobile I am actually deactivating this plugin. Bummer. Back to the drawing board.

There seems to be very little support on this plugin and most topics remain unresolved. The album extension doesn’t work, no albums showing on page. The NextGen Gallery importer doesn’t work, zero gallery gets imported, no error messages. This plugin showed so much promise on the developer’s site but I am superdisappointed. This one was harder to find than big names like NextGEN, but it was well-worth the search. After deleting a few gallery plugins I didn’t like using, and researching dozens more, no plugin (that I could see) comes close to functioning exactly like WordPress than Foo. In my opinion, this plugin retains exactly what you need, removes what you don’t and keeps the workflow super-streamlined. It seems very integrated with WordPress, rather than competing against it.
