Sorry but, I just had to rate this 2 star for what its worth. As I always rate freemiums 1 star, not because it doesn’t work, but the basic features are all sold as paid add ons. Very few freemium survive with a 4.7 out of 5 stars, so you’re lucky to have landed on the positive spot. So my point is, if you wanted to sell the plugin, then sell the plugin, like somewhere in codecanyon or something. The most basic that should be free is the networks beyond fb and twitter. In reality only this 2 matters, but locking them in paid add on? c’mon ! And even if you are selling it, at such price, i would suggest people go for monarch plugin which is just 89 a year, and it’s unlimited site license, and all everyone cares about in terms of customization with tons of features, including analytics, without having to “buy this add-on to unlock full potential” bullcrap. I can go on forever, but at least you’re getting 2 stars because of the custom count feature. Upon further consideration, I decided to move it to 1 star. Because I am generous enough to rate it. Better than no rating at all. =)

I think it’s a waste of everyone’s time to ask for a review before actually getting to use the plug-in. I am curious to see if it will work as advertised but until I do I can’t in good conscience give it more than 3 stars. It’s worked well so far, I guess, but we shall see.

Great plugin if you only need 1 font. You can only choose one. You need to get their API code. Its for one website, free. After that, you pay. I set this up on a Development site to test it. Then, when I transferred the dev site to live, with another URL, the plugin did not work unless I pay.. so not that useful for me right now. There are other plugins that work for more fonts, all free.. thanks for trying anyway.

I don’t easily give glowing reviews but this plugin does what its supposed to and does it well. Very configurable and well put together. I asked for a test review that literally said ‘test’ 2 weeks ago. 13 emails in 14 days later I’m accused of ‘you must have made your video before it was removed.” No, I made it 2.5hrs after I got an email from you telling me it was removed. I was told at least 3 times it was removed and it wasn’t I was then told that “You must have made your screen recording before the review was removed” Seriously? You are accusing me of ‘playing games’? Then I was told that there were no reviews in the database…again… seriously? I have a dozen or more on my website but yeah, now the page on your site representing my business is throwing a 500 error…but it wasn’t a week ago. The support with these people is a joke, and a really bad joke at that. And FYI… I record videos of issues, I don’t try to explain via a ‘chat type email’. I don’t have time to waste but these guys sure do know how to get around that.

I have been developing websites for companies small and large since the days of code and now I have semi retired I wanted something where I don’t have to think about things, I don’t have to sit writing out codes or developing a script, it is as easy as falling off the pavement on to a nice soft feather mattress. WordPress and Page Builder and all that comes with it is a developers dream and it is a novices erotic dream and everything that goes with that. No longer do you have to pay some school kid to build your website, no longer do you have to phone your 14 year old sisters boyfriend to tell you what <b> <b/> means. (but learn what it means anyway). Page Builder is No1 in my books so relax and enjoy your new easy life with Page Builder.

So much work wasted. I made a test version of a whole website. Moving content from a test.expample.com to example.com does only work with the import function of WP. That means that I have to rebuild my website completely after moving the content. If I copy and paste the content, I will get blank pages if I open the to edit. The support of this software is great and if you don’t have to move your content it is great to work with. That’s why I rate it four points.

To start up – WOW! I’ve always been a proud WordPress website builder and for the most part I have resisted the use of page builders … not any more, how stupid was I ???? While I am happy to delve deep into the WordPress plugins/widgets code, develop my own themes and just get down and dirty developing sites which by the way I love doing, the owner of the site isn’t, for example Wifey. I, and I know 1000’s of others have to do a fair amount of post web site support which is fine (and I mean just user errors with page/post editing), especially if its your main source of income. However that can become quite demanding and other projects can often be delayed. As I said above I have resisted page builders by dismissing them as newbie tools, never really looking at what they can actually offer. Then come a rebuild of wifey’s website, I had to make it easier for her to manage and update. Wifey was competent to do much of her website editing herself, however there were often times where Wifey had issues, for example layout of her content within the WP editor and then on the live front end, it was often a real pain in the … you know what for her. That was after adding plugins to help like TinyMCE Advanced, Just TinyMCE styles and other editor assistance plugins. I’d often hear her grumble in the background only to find there is an issue with her page editing and getting it to look ‘exactly’ like what she wanted and can visualise. So I had to look for a better solution … This time I had to make sure EVERY element of the site content is 100% manageable by her at anytime and anywhere. I started by looking at my options – many … many of them. It HAD TO be easily usable and 99% support free. I decided (after a lot of testing all other similar tools) then to go with SiteOrigin as it was the most complete and versatile solution in my opinion for what I needed. So I created a test site with SiteOrigin and that changed my whole view on site builder solutions. So I set about rebuilding wifey’s web site with SiteOrigin. By additionally getting the premium add-ons, everything wifey needed (with a couple of more specific plugins) was there. The best part is I could turn on only the widgets required so it was easy to use and not be confusing with too many options. WOW! What a difference this has made. Our plugin installs have gone from 19 down to 7 (the SiteOrigin plugins counting as a group of 1). Her new site load times have gone from fast to OMG! (we have our own VPS) Wifey is ecstatic and I have yet to hear her grumble at the new site. Her ability to control layouts page by page has been such a great feature that I was simply asked why didn’t I use this before – chuckle ???? So if you are considering a Site Builder plugin, give this one a serious consideration, you will be pleased with it as much as I am. BTW I can still get down and dirty with developing suitable themes for sites needing them. BTW SiteOrigin has themes available too ???? Just when you think I am done, wait there is more … if you need support as a premium addon user – that support is amazing and awesome with quick responses that are helpful. You can backup all you want! Just like a file manager, copy and paste. Other than that, pay them! OR YOU CAN’T RESTORE THE BACKUPS! YOU’LL HAVE TO MANUALLY RESTORE YOUR FILES, YOUR DATABASE, AND ALL OF THIS THINKING: oh, I really should have gone with duplicator. Congrats devs. 0 stars.

Unlike lots of WP plugins, this one works really well in the free version. It’s one of the best of all WP downloads I’ve made. Some people with particular needs could almost build a whole site on it. I doubt I will need the paid pro version, but I’m so impressed with the free version I’m going to send the developer a donation. The Internet needs more developers like this.

Took me a while to figure out which of my plugins managed to sneak in a Google Analytics tracking script. No direct calls for it in my page’s HTML. Nothing in the theme. What the?… Then I’ve noticed that under “Advanced” settings of Shareaholic there’s a line that reads: Disable Analytics (it is recommended NOT to disable analytics Who would’ve thought that this is not Shareaholic’s analytics, but the old (prehistoric!) synchronous ga.js?! In short: ticked that “NOT recommended” option, got rid of redundant script, got an instant +7 on Google Pagespeed. Plus freakin’ seven! PS: Just found out that this plugin also loads Jquery from Google servers. Again, silently, without printing any extra HTML code. Sneaky bastard. +12 on Pagespeed.

I’ve been using Shareaholic for about four years now under their free plan. It has consistently worked with exception to two times when it simply stopped functioning properly. While their customer service can be slow, I have to give them credit, I’m under the free plan after all. Both times I had problems, they eventually solved my issues. Jay was particularly helpful. I will be upgrading to a paid plan in the near future for added features and faster customer support. It’s worth it!

I have a couple of sites and this plugin is on all of them. It is unbelievable how good this plugin is. love the new hack protection excellent firewall very secure so far. I haven’t had any issues with other plugins or my themes wp login rename is a really nice feature. If you are looking for a secure firewall then this is it… great support and stays on top of updates. I am very happy with Simple Security Firewall.

I’ve been using this plugin for a while now. Paul G has been very kind and helped me with all my questions. I’m so trusting with this plugin that I’ve translated it in Finnish-language too. Every day I check the Audit trail-page and allways there are plenty of unwanted visitors trying to mess with my site. WPSF has up to now allways been able to stop those hostile visitors. Hands down the best slider for wordpress in terms of clean quality code, usability and compatibility. Holding back the Carousel until the $99 plan is just plain extortion . That being said, the $99 package is well worth the money if you want/need those addons. You will need knowledge of CSS to get control of the text layer but that is part of the reason this slider is so lean and fast. With Free Standard Version, you can only create up to 3 albums. I can understand paid features, but this free plugin is very disabled. On top of this it uploads images to its own directory instead of using the built in WordPress media editor.

Paid my money and within minutes I was up and running. However had a problem with my wordpress installation (my fault) sent a suport request. Answered in short time and issue resolved, what more would you want from support? As for the plugin, got to say I am a complete novice at this but it is so easy to use I had uploaded 129 albums within a few hours. tried to create a simple 2 column gallery and was limited to one option, which isn’t responsive on mobile. Seemed to be a neat plugin at first sight. However, the wysiwyg editor stopped working for my blog posts. The editor becomes white/blank and therefore useless… Deactivating the rating-widget plugin makes my wysiwyg editor working again. Another issue: sometimes it takes long to make connection with the rating-widget server, which makes the stars invisible at the page. Wanted to give it 2 stars here, but that should mean it ‘works’. In my case it doesn’t work, since I can’t use my wysiwyg editor anymore. Therefore 1 star. UPDATE ====== When using default theme Fourteen, the problem seems to be gone. Changed rating to a 4 star.

What was I thinking when I purchased pro after not being satisfied with the basic version of this plugin? I purchased it with PayPal, the only option and didn’t see that this developer is not even PayPal seller verified. I was directed back to their website, had to register and put the invoice number in and it shows that the order is “processing”. When clicked on further, it says that if I want to continue processing the order, I have to pay, and it sends me right back to PayPal to pay again. This is an indication of the lack of support and carelessness of the developer. The free version has too many limitations for me but it worked fairly well. It’s probably why their are 286 five star reviews currently, because it’s free and good enough. The pro is apparently a hornet’s nest of trouble. PS: I am so new to WordPress. Apparently I gave this guy 5 stars while writing a negative review. Maybe other did too. On editing, I can’t change my rating. I expected to be able to it as I do elsewhere. Ooops.

There are numerous ANNOYING English spelling mistakes in the PHP which make this look amateurish, but you can easily fix these yourself in the plugin’s PHP source files on your server, to make it look professional. The actual code is good.

I was at my wits end trying to migrate a site from a terrible hosting company to us. I tried sFTP with regular favoutes of mine like Backup Buddy and Duplicator Pro. It never send the whole zip file. I tried downloading to my local computer (expected arrival 3 days) I spent a whole day on this… Migrate Guru had it sorted in 15 mins and that experience was so easy. I owe you!

The support team of this plugin is absolutely amazing. If you are trying to decide what review plugin to get. GET THIS ONE. I bought the paid version and it was about as close to a hand coded look as you can get they helped when I got stuck and when my theme just wasn’t working correctly with the plugin. AMAZING PRODUCT!

I’ve dealt with the increased marketing push. Going from 1 simple screen to multiple tabs (where the logs — i.e. the important data — are now further obscured) among all the other “Cloud security” stuff. I get that you’re a business. But moving the plugin from the “Settings” tab to the top-level admin nav — for no obvious reason — is the final straw. The free version limits the number of login attempts as expected. It would be nice if it disallowed an IP address forever if it had been locked out for 24 hours twice. The Pro version does have a feature similar feature that keeps increasing the lockout time. The Pro version also prevents brute force attacks.

So I’ve been searching and searching to find a simple – non logging in situation where a user can share a picture and have it post on a user submitted category page. Seems like this one would work, it’s got it so you can have it go just to the file you intend and it seems to work on the outside. But when I plugged it in, the images wouldn’t share, only the post would! So I went searching to find out whats up and all I find is a bunch of people throwing code around like its frekn candy! I have no idea what the hell any of it means and I’m a webmaster for a living! Why is it that I need to plug in additional code to a plugin and the plugin not tell me I need too? If so why do you have this available to the general public and their blogs? You should take your code to an open source site if your going to pull this kind of party! GREAT IDEA DUDE, but you earn a FAIL on my end. I don’t understand it and it frustrates the crap out of me because there is just crap for user submitted image plugins! I mean am I wrong here? I did see others complaining about the image part of this too, why did you release this if it’s so buggy man? So what’s the deal? Tutorial maybe??

The problem stems from a weak key vulnerability in WP-Slimstat, a web analytics plugin for the content management system that’s been downloaded roughly 1.3 million times. The bug could enable an attacker to essentially guess the value of the key the plugin uses to sign data sent to and from the user. While securing my website by blocking access to wp-admin folder, i accidentally disabled client-side slimstat analytics. I opened a case with them (as a free plugin user, that is!) and got a to-the-point response in a matter of a few hours. Unbelievable and well worth this review as my token of appreciation. B.t.w.; you need to grant access to /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php for slimstat to work with (default) client side statistics.

SEOPress ist so vielfältig! Es zeigt alles auf, vor allem auch die Fehler meiner Website. Ich weiss noch nicht, wie ich das alles beheben kann. Aber ich bin daran, eine Sache nach der anderen an die Hand zu nehmen und das Ranking bei Google wird jedes Mal besser.

Product Feed PRO for WooCommerce is a great plugin! The free version is a very basic version and doesn’t include everything but definitely more than you’d expect in a free product feed plugin. The support for free users also exceeded our expectations & their updates always coming timeously and effectively. I definitely recommend this plugin and depending on the size of what you are doing with it, the free version is more than sufficient.

The product didn’t work out of the box, which is understandable and could happen. Simply put (at least in my case), the plug-in does not trigger the right ID on the product page, so there is no match in the plug-in Facebook generated catalog. Support (Eva) was very unhelpful, so I reached out to Facebook, and got this answer: “The reason your Content IDs are not being matched correctly between your Catalog and Pixel is because the data on your website is for Product_Group, but the numbers are actually Product_IDs. For example, the Product_Group of the knee brace in your screenshots is actually 74, so it doesn’t match with the numbers from your website.” After multiple backs and forth with Eva, providing video, screenshot and even admin access to the site so that perhaps the support could find a solution, or even point out what a step-by-step I could follow to fix it, her answer was: “With all do respect but you really don’t understand even though we showed everything in detail.” Aside from the disappointment of the product not working, the support experience was the worst I had in YEARS Satay away P.S: installed PixelYourSite and worked right away… This topic was modified 1 year, 6 months ago by copperjoint.
