The plugin works like a charm and is the only one which I found which works seamlessly with AMP (AMPforWP with the Comments and the Contact Form 7 Extensions) and can be used compatibly with the European data protection laws (GDPR). In detail: 1) It works. The plugin actually blocks off spam from my site. 2) Registration – you have to obtain an API key from the website in order to get access, and register the API key in the settings. The pre-delivered API key which appears in the settings right after installation does not work and produces a “level 3” error. In order to register correctly, clear your cache before and after registering the correct API key. 3) What the plugin actually does is to allow some settings and provide access to third party tools, namely a real-time blocking list, and inserts (if set in the settings) Google reCAPTCHA. So, in that respect, it is quite comparable to Akismet, which also does not process content on-site, but remotely in order to determine whether something is malicious. It goes further than Akismet, as it also contains a firewall function and allows to block submissions with Chinese, Arabic, or Cyrillic characters. It also allows to define a number of seconds during which the page has to be loaded before a comment can be submitted. 4) The plugin indeed does not insert any javascript or Ajax, so it can hardly be recognized in code when activated (it sets a footprint by inserting “Website Protected by Spam Master” into the commentary form. Of course, this can be erased by modifying the code of the plugin. 5) Because the plugin does not insert HTML, javascript or Ajax, it is compatible to the AMP plugin AMPforWP (I did not test it with others), without producing code which is not AMP-compatible; different to the plugins “Honeypot for Contact Forms 7” or “Antispam Bee”, which cannot be used on AMP without producing page output which is not AMP compatible or produces a form with a field titled “Leave this field blank” on AMP pages. 6) For those who are located in the EU or otherwise data protection aware: It is true that data are transferred to a company called Techgasp, but this company is located in Portugal and thus in the EU. Therefore, all the complicated requirements which have to be met when transferring data into the USA (privacy shield “membership” of the company the data are transferred to and/or Standard Contractual Clauses) are not necessary. As the data are not forwarded for “processing on behalf of a controller” (processing is not done on instruction), an explicit agreement under Article 28 GDPR is not required (my legal opinion). 7) I do not see why it is subject to criticism that a small sum (for European dimensions) has to be annually paid for access to the databases. The plugin enables access to those databases for processing. A PayPal plugin enables access to services of PayPal (which are not free), and the Akismet plugin enables access to the Akismet services, which are also not free (in many cases). 8) If anything seems to fail, clear your cache first. 9) I am not affiliated or otherwise connected to the plugin author or his company. In addition: Suggestion for the privacy statement Processing of Form Entries by a Third Party for Spam Prevention Data which are entered into forms on this website, as well as the IP address, from which those data are transmitted to this website, are transmitted partly or in whole to Tangente da Sabedoria, Unipessoal Lda., Rua Cova da Castelhana, Viv Maria Adelaide, 2765-408 Estoril, Portugal, hereafter called: “Techgasp”. Purpose of the processing is to prevent spam to be displayed or received. Spam are unwanted, mostly automatically created bulk messages with unrelated marketing or other unsuitable content. Legal basis for the processing is Article 6 Section 1 Sentence 1 lit. f of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. The legitimate interest which is pursued by this processing is enabling the automated operation of the website, from which spam can only be kept away with unbearable efforts when not using automated checks, as well as avoiding an unbearable load of the inbox which is used for for contact requests submitted through the contact forms on this website. Techgasp use the data under their own responsibility and, according to their statements, not for sale to third parties, but only for the provision of own technical services, for meeting legal requirements, to enhance own services, and to protect own rights. Works excellently, exactly as it says. This plugin was the perfect solution for me for my BuddyBoss site. I was trying to have a member profile search that allowed search for members by age range. The default BuddyBoss search only allows for age search by using date of birth range, which I found to be cumbersome and unintuitive. I combined BP Profile Search with BP Distance Search and BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Field Types to give a much better member search form. In addition Andrea, the plugin author, is super helpful and quick with replying to questions and issues in the support thread. If you are looking for a better member search than the default BuddyBoss option, then I highly recommend this.

I still use Trello, but now I can focus on using Trello for what it is really supposed to be used for, and allow this plugin to expand my operations into specialized territory that has the potential to re-capture a lot of revenue. This is an amazingly inexpensive system that supports a key paradigm in the problem resolution protocycle: Root Cause Analysis. Beyond that, it can enhance your business AND technical support operations in many ways. It has fantastic documentation, an extremely intuitive setup procedure, and a feature set that makes sense for its intended use case. Kudos to the author for publishing a plugin that increases dramatically the relevance of WordPress to company operations and infrastructure. The author is responsive, professional, and extremely interested in making sure I am satisfied with the work. Then, to enhance user experience, we have been upgrading to the premium release in order to be able to take advantage of the frontend submission of tickets. WATS works fine! It is easy to setup and is compatible with latest WP release. I had few questions to customize the look and feel of the system and the developper answered those very quickly. The premium release provides advanced features like the notifications which were quite helpful for me. But I was also really happy with the free release.

I should have paid closer attention to the negative reviews. This plugin does not allow me to test any features via an end user. I can see parts of the functionality but I am left to guess what the actual end user experience will be unless I buy the full version.

Frontend submission form access :Warning : this feature isn’t available in the standard release. Please upgrade to benefit from it! Which means there is no way for a user to submit a ticket themselves. Plugin is certainly not worth any money

I’ve found no other plugin that works as quickly and easily for installing the Google Adwords Conversion tracking script. The fact that 6 scripts is the limit for the free version is not a problem for us, and in my opinion, anyone claiming otherwise is just being cheap. I have been using the free version and it works as expected. It is one of the best plugins for inserting code into specific and individual pages. After redesigning our website, my need increased for more code snippets, so I purchased the Pro version. I followed all the installation instructions, and after activating the plugin, I got to a screen to enter the license. Once the license was entered, the plugin takes me to a blank screen and will go no further. I tried many things and couldn’t get past a blank screen. I messaged support, and they emailed back the next day with installation instructions. I had already followed the instructions, so I replied with my license number and never heard back from them. It’s been three weeks and I haven’t been able to use the plugin I purchased. It’s too bad because the plugin was promising, but now I will have to ask for a refund from Paypal.

For a free plugin this does exactly what is required. Simple to use interface, nicely styled with plenty of functionality and no bloatware or spamvertising. Works with product attributes and custom taxonomies. If only it had a NOT query filter, would happily pay for this functionality.

Perfect, after years of dealing with client chosen solutions for page builders in WP, this is the one I will be recommending they use in the future. It does everything the WordPress way and uses the same structure as the customiser so you can see your edits live, a bonus is being able to use the same device type previews the customiser uses so you can seamlessly swap between mobile / tablet / desktop view while building your page. Well done guys this is a triumph, look forward to getting my hands dirty and building a few custom extensions. Final words: You will love it ????

I’ve always struggled with how pagebuilders work in WordPress and how they get in the way of the normal editing workflow. Not with Tailor. This integrates pretty nicely with the normal flow, adds very useful building blocks to your TinyMCE editor and still allows you to edit contents in the normal editor. Awesome! As a first release, in my eyes this is already the best page builder out there, can’t wait to see what’s coming next. Left a few suggestion on the support forum. I tried the free version and the tooltips were beautiful, however, I needed more functionality and bought the premium version. I am having trouble getting it to work with a custom made CornerStone theme (which is a very limited theme–don’t get me started). Support and been so great to back to me immediately and with follow-up. They are one of the good ones. Would highly recommend!

Hoping that the ‘Pro’ version would do what it says here on the plugin’s description : ‘Add tooltip to menu items: “You can add tooltips into menu items, sub menu items … ” , I went and purchased the ‘Pro’ version. Which turned out to be a piece of worthless and misleading junk. At the ‘Menu item tooltips’, in the Pro version, all it provides is a button, to ‘Enable Tooltips on Menu items’ , with a disclaimer note that it may NOT work on some, ‘more advanced’ themes. Of course it wouldn’t work, on any theme, because it’s just a button, doing nothing ! It doesn’t offer ANY instruction on how the menu items tooltips should be activated, and testing with the ‘title’ attribute produced no results. Maybe the plugin works for some uses, with keywords, but that was not the function that I needed. The javascript the plugin is based on, is jquery.qtip, a free jquery plugin, released in 2009, by Craig Thompson. The ‘author’ of this plugin seems to have just slapped on a few extra buttons on top of this free jquery plugin, made it look like a WordPress plugin, and set out to make a quick buck. I requested a refund on the author’s website, but haven’t heard from him. After a few days of waiting I decided that this plugin’s Pro version is a SCAM. Don’t waste your money !

I generally don’t have issues with this plugin and I assume it’s working well to protect my site from hackers. The only issue I have is that time to time it locks me out although I KNOW for a fact that I haven’t attempted to login unsuccessfully several times. Normally, as a programmer, I update the URLs via phpMyAdmin, but with a recent site it was throwing errors and not working. I installed and used this plugin instead, and BAM! in the blink of an eye, all of the URLs were updated exactly as they needed to be! SUPER COOL! A++ plugin here. Thank you!

Over the last year the success rate from users has gone up dramatically. We have patched this for compatibility of all reported plugins conflicts and the new interface which lets users know about tables that are not safe with the free version has really helped stability. The pro version has gotten so smart that it’s nearly fool proof. It has been a great year for this plugin! I know I may be biased because I created this plugin, but I have had an overwhelmingly heartening reaction from this plugins users lately. Including notoriety on Twitter. I’m filled with so much gratitude that I have just allocated a much larger pool of funds for enhancements of this plugin for the next year.

That’s a great plugin and it works like a charm. Only missing features are: an override function to rename GUID (I do it for websites that are still not online). I would prefer to have a single Pro plugin instead of installing 2 a table list to be sure it’s gonna update all the tables in the database (with my_prefix_), rather than hoping it will magically works. With it still does.

Found some files that were on the server and not in the library, and could tell where the duplicates were as well. I appreciate the feature that adds the date to the file based on the folder it was in, so old media doesn’t get added to today’s folder.

I used the WP import/export tool to move just my 8+ years of blog articles to a brand-new website I was making. Thought I would be missing many images as this has happened to me in the past and sure enough, spot checking my articles proved that many months were missing. This plugin worked well – I had my backups of uploads folders and simply uploaded my images to the new host and then used the plugin to sync them to the media library and they appeared back in my blog articles – worked very well. I was able to test the plugin on a blog where I do not really need it yet. I wanted to create a linkable thumbnail catalog on one of my blogs and for some reason it works on all of my blogs BUT the one I need it to work on. The catalog I was able to create worked well and looks nice. I wish there were a better way to handle the categories than how it’s set up. The only way I’ve found so far is to go in through an uploaded image to set categories; there is not separate table that handles just the categories for the images. Also there is no way to set the categories on the upload page either. You can set link, description and even price, but not categories.

Elementor is a great pagebuilder. It’s very pity that this plugin seems not be compatible with Elementor. The language switcher is a static list version with no extra options. Spocket has it all. I have attempted drop-shipping utilising so many different plug-ins and so many extensions that I was at the verge of giving up (again!). However, I thought “I’ll give spocket a go…” Well today I set up my domain, my hosting and put a SSL certificate onto the website. this is one of the few security plugins that work with older WP versions too. the wp-login page is usually targeted by bots, so you get each day a lot of brute force attacks, trying to guess your password. If they do not know the login page, these attacks cease. You should combine this plugin with some security plugins too (like those avoiding php injection, limiting the login attempts to only a few, etc.)

This plugin worked initially, and caused no issues. But then, suddenly, it started redirecting my wp-admin and any other part of my admin area pages to a 404 page. So I deleted the plugin, and my site works fine now. I will not use this plugin again.

The plugin works perfectly and offers a nice choice of jQuery configuration options. I’ve marked it four out of five because the installation instructions mislead me. The plugin did not work for me until I defined a jQuery selector in the plugin’s options page therefore it’s not simply a case of “1, 2: You’re done!” as stated. I don’t understand bad reviews. This plugin works exactly what it says and it’s working perfectly once connected properly. It merged all my previous store records, it is sending all nee purchases, SKUs and i actually don’t need paid solutions like Active Woo. Tested on WordPress 5.4.1 and Woocommerce 4. Overall awesome, so 5 star. Sometimes (with 1.3) tricky to use, and I have to move the accordion items up and down list and update, before they eventually open right one, but haven’t tried so much with latest release. Also with 1.3.1 can’t change color of header text alas, for some reason? So have to edit as HTML, which isn’t quite ideal, but as I’ve said, overall awesome.
