Because this below average waste of hard drive space is nothing but a glorified BAIT AND SWITCH. They want you to backup your site then when you need to restore it they hope you are FORCED to pay for their terrible “service”. Good thing I used a FREE plugin as well just in case.

Bait and switch plugin. This plugin exists only as an advertisment to the larger miniOrange feature set. Even features listed in the plugin description for the ‘Free’ version are false and only provided with the paid plugin! This experience has done nothing but ensure that I avoid future dealings with miniOrange.

I am a first time user of this plugin, and am in the process of creating my first backup. I used UpDraft for a long time, but I have a very large photography website that I needed to back up, and I was unable to and migrate the site without a lot of time invested, plus UpDraft would time out and not work when I tried to migrate the site.

With BlogVault, my first backup was made in under an hour. With UpDraft, it would take 3-4 hours, and use my server resources. I kept running out of room.

With BlogVault, the time of the backup is cut down as well as how future backups are preformed; it will sync your new files to your site, no need to take a complete backup again.

I will continue to use UpDraft on other smaller sites, but if you have a large site that is too big to backup, check out BlogVault.

I will update this review if anything changes, but at least I can sleep tonight without worrying about my site having issues. I am so thankful for BlogVault.

This platform has proved to be invaluable to me with the constant updates to wordpress and theme frameworks. I’ve tried a few other options for staging and found Blogvault to be the easiest to manage and migrate. Support is always fast and helpful. I highly recommend Blogvault.

Been using Total Upkeep as a backup tool for a few months now. I see it runs through a non-spammy notification email and luckily I have not had to test if it is actually working. Assuming it will. No reason to doubt it, fingers cross ????

This is for the paid service; our ISP provides the premium version. The backup service works well, with limitations.
