My site has relied heavily on Speakup email petitions for years now. It is a great thing that SpeakOut came along with its excellent support to improve on the old abandoned plugin. The addition of the BCC is awesome!

I’ve had the plugin installed for almost a year and never used it until last week. This plugin is GREAT!!! We have been able to send over 800 emails in 4 days, and the plugin performed flawlessly.

My only complaints are:

There should be a way to sort signatures by the opt-in and download just the opt-in signers to a csv to import the opt-in users to a subscription system easily. Currently, we need to edit the CSV file before uploading the users into our subscription system.

The plugin is not very good-looking and requires a lot of CSS to style. Ofcorese, this is necessary for any plugin with a user frontend, and I would have done it anyway, so not an issue for me.

One user did have a problem with Rcapacha that was never figured out, and he couldn’t get it to approve his submission. Maybe Rcapacha was doing its job?

Anywho, five stars for giving us a way to voice our opinion. Thank you! I’ll be making a generous donation. Where do I send it?

Instead to send the email confirmation to the user (signer),the message “thank you” is sent to the original email set in petition.I have tested many times,all the messages are collected in one email (the original),users (signers) dont receive anything,even to confirm their signature.

The plugin does perfectly the job it says it does and it’s very easy to use. Plus, I completely agree @polanve: it allows you to control your petition being YOU the owner of the data.

Don’t use “free” platforms, use YOURS!

Finally, Kreg, the main developer (from DesignKode.com) has done a very good job. The code is clean, he attends the support tickets very well and the plugin is allways up to date. One of my favourite plugins.

The plugin does not work! On the contrary, the plugin runs in an infinite loop at the first 3 Ulitmate member accounts and duplicates endlessly existing images until the hard disk space becomes full.
If you want to scrap your WordPress, you only need this tool!

An emigration from UM to Peepso, is not possible with this plugin, pity the time and money for the PeepSo licenses!

This would be really good if it could display dates fora whole year maybe by selecting a week at a time.

Is it possible to choose a week and then display that week from the whole year of can you update it to do that ?

Plugin was easy to install, forum embeds nicely into my website (or you can link to the forum if you don’t want to embed it), matches my website, synchronizes with my log in and sign up page, amazing support, and nice themes!

I like that it’s hosted by them. Regardless of how much my forum grows, I never have to worry about my wordpress website’s server being overloaded.

The other plugins are good too, but I found them to be too basic, no customer support, and too many problems reported by people when their forum became really busy and started crashing their site.

This plugin works really well! There are a few things that need tweaking such as adding a user role for a club librarian to maintain our lending library of books, videos and equipment, and a label that needs to be localized in the “Lendings” page on the backend, but other than that I think this will work perfectly.
