This plugin has worked great up until tonight when I installed the 2.0.3 upgrade and lost functionality- there doesn’t appear to be a way to limit events on the widget anymore. I had to downgrade to 0.7.3.1 to fix this.

Google Calendar Events was nearly exactly what I was looking for and I’m very grateful for all the work that goes into building open source software.

Unfortunately, the upgrade to 3.0.1 deleted live calendars, settings, and Google API credentials.

In addition, the new version injects a lot of inline CSS. I could not find a setting or hook in the code to override it.

I can see that the plugin is becoming more extensible, but in the meantime the version upgrade broke live sites and didn’t provide functionality I actually needed. In the future, it’d be useful if the plugin could put up a warning stating an update will not maintain compatibility.

This would be a great plugin if the options didn’t restrict the ability to use it.

For example, it forces you to enter an employee, when that employee works, for every single timeslot available – and there isn’t an option for ‘This isn’t necessary’
The plugin forces you to enter how long each service will take, but doesn’t seem to be away to allow the customer select the service they need.

All there needs to be is a way to put in the days & hours of operation and the services provided to let the customer select the day and time for drop off, services they need, the ability to leave a note and have that sync with iCal. The customer puts in their name, phone, email and everything is setup.

The thing is, if there was just an option to exclude the overkill, the plugin would be amazing.

I bought this plugin. Exactly what I was looking for : simple and at the same time really customizable. I had some little troubles for the PayPal connection (plugins incompatibility ?), but the autor offered me a great support. Great Job.

I created a new API Key. Copied and pasted–IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM. I AM SO AMAZED.

I will be using your services in the future as I teach web design and work with website as well. I do no have any ADMIN on this non-profit site and have to work with a free, limited WordPress–not my first choice.

I have tried about 2 or 3 other plugins–no avail. No support, no luck. Complicated.
