Samatoa Lotus Textiles

Samatoa is a social enterprise of textile creating fabric and clothes made of lotus, silk and other natural fibers (banana, kapok, ...) founded in Cambodia in 2003 on the three pillars of sustainable development : economic efficiency, social equity and protection of the environment. We are offering a large range of products, from clothes, bags, scarves and other accessories, all entirely handmade. We are also offering a custom-made tailoring service. Samatoa uses the best socially responsible manufacturing techniques to create eco fabrics that support womens empowerment in Cambodia, allowing us to provide jobs to 30 Cambodian women. Samatoa was rewarded in 2012 by the UNESCO Prize for excellence for its unique lotus flower fabric.
