Becky is CPRW (global industry standard for professional resume writers) accredited, which distinguishes her as highly experienced and committed to professionalism, and Becky is currently the sole writer for the company. Winning CVs provides comprehensive, focussed services covering CVs, LinkedIn profile, cover letter and application form writing. Becky prides herself on the differentiating factor, the all-important pre-writing consultation which if done right almost eliminates the potential for failure - and if anything is transposed incorrectly, this is when the post-writing care comes in - a call through which all issues big or small can be ironed out and rectified, as well as questions answered. The aim of the consultation is to bring out from the client quantifiable key achievements, important role information and accountabilities, timelines, stories, talents and character traits - all to create a bespoke item that sets the client head and shoulders above the competition. Becky's ultimate aim is to always get documents right first time, and this is not an easy feat - but she does achieve it (bar a couple of tiny changes) most of the time! Knowing she's listened well and crystallized all components into a well-thought-out 'masterpiece' that customers love and that gets the desired results is a real buzz and most satisfying. A bit of history: Becky has years of proofreading experience and in 2011 embarked on a degree in English and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), a purposely grammar-heavy course. She was then offered work as a copywriter, where she developed strong skills in writing to advertise extensively writing copy for such companies as lastminute.com and Clarks shoes. A couple of years later an opportunity arose to write CVs, LinkedIn profiles and cover letters for a well-known CV writing organisation and since that time she has written for around 10 similar companies, honing her skill and being sought after to write largely for top execs and business leaders. In 2020 she successfully achieved the CPRW accreditation to qualify her skills, and in 2021 she fulfilled a life-long dream of becoming a qualified counsellor, with a careers counselling qualification recognised by the National UK Therapists Register. Becky enjoys developing fantastic relations with diverse customers from students to CEOs and finds that the TEFL experience really aids communications with customers whose first language is not English. She is patient and understanding of the difficulties of speaking and writing in another language, and has the utmost respect for people who do so. She is also young at heart which helps her identify with younger clients, and is able to offer a wealth of career, company and role understanding to advise those in top-level positions. Further, she has found for years that she is able to lift the spirits of despondent clients through the whole process from consultation and talent identification through to final document completion.
