We are a law firm/debt collection agency based in New York City and we have hired CodeBright to create a software web application for us to streamline & automate the complex debt collection process, make us more effective & efficient as well as transition from paper records to digital records. In the beginning we just had a general direction of where we want to go and what we want to see with no specifics. CodeBright team took our idea and turned it first into a blueprint, interactive wire-frame and then a graphic design (which was approved by us). Throughout the development process we've got regular progress updates from Andrey (the manager) and we knew everything was going according to the plan. Now that the development of the application is completed and the app has gone through the quality control- we are about start using the web app and are planning to at least double our volume in 2018.We are not particularly tech savvy so it was important for us to find a software development company we can trust, that will not cut corners and do the right thing (especially since we deal with sensitive information in our practice). We've used a custom built desktop software developed in Microsoft Access 2003 to run our entire production/back office for the company. Had to swap out a developer due to slow work, introducing errors, unacceptable performance. Even ended up with me designing part of the solution. We eventually agreed that all new dev would be on hold until bugs were fixed. Bugs were never resolved but they said my credit had expired, effectively taking almost EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS from me for nothing!!Absolutely disgusted in the way they have behaved. I had always wanted to build SimpleStudy into a true educational platform. Yet, without the technical experience or expertise that really was not possible for me. I looked through over 50 applications before choosing Anand and his team, and I do not think I could have made a better decision. Digital tech firms are everywhere, but often they market themselves a lot better than they can actually work. Yet, Anand and his team have an honest work ethic that I appreciate, and there was real finesse in all work and communication we had. Obviously, building a system like this in any company entails significant work, yet from the ensemble of Anand's work I would say their growing company has a clear mark of success. I demanded many changes and little alterations throughout the process that were fixed promptly and efficiently. Despite the time zone difference and my travels they always managed to accommodate me. Unprofessionalism at its height:Apply at this company at your own risk. There is no assurance even after confirming that you have been selected, they can take their decision back. It's my personal experience they selected me we talked about the salary and everything and later they don't even pick the phone. When at last after numerous attempts they will call you and give a lame excuse that they have some internal discussion and can't hire as they don't have any requirement. Such kind of unprofessionalism only shows the disoriented management the company is running under. I am very sure none of the employees working there is happy. If a company doesn't value their decision that how can they value their employees. I was fortunate enough that I had another offer in my hand and I stick to not reject that offer until I get the complete confirmation from red cube. Beware friends before joing the company.
