I was able to test the plugin on a blog where I do not really need it yet. I wanted to create a linkable thumbnail catalog on one of my blogs and for some reason it works on all of my blogs BUT the one I need it to work on. The catalog I was able to create worked well and looks nice. I wish there were a better way to handle the categories than how it’s set up. The only way I’ve found so far is to go in through an uploaded image to set categories; there is not separate table that handles just the categories for the images. Also there is no way to set the categories on the upload page either. You can set link, description and even price, but not categories.

Maybe the instructions should include the updated wording: Visit Cloud Console, go to IAM & Admin -> Service accounts and create a service account with Storage Admin role and download the json key file. Simply it isn’t activated on PHP7.2 so you HAVE TO use PHP < 7.1 in order to activate and use it.

it works, but with major problems. by default, it changes the media storage of WP to google storage, but after this plugin is installed, user cannot install any other extensions, because it will try to install into gs://xxx

I have been using this plugin for some time, but it is no longer maintained. If someone wants to continue using this plugin with new versions of wordpress and any form, you will need to make a small change. – Edit Easy Contact Plugin – Edit easy-contact/econtact.php – Change mail( $to, $subject, $message, $headers); by wp_mail( $to, $subject, $message, $headers); This uses a more standard function that is usually used by the form plugins.

You can easily lock yourself out of the plugin. The plugin keeps it’s own database of authorized users. The user that installs the plugin automatically is added to the plugin database. If you should delete that user you are SOL when you next want to access your contact forms – you will get a ‘please log in’ message and no access. Ok, so just add the user back – no go. Why? The plugin also records the id of the user in it’s database. So now you have a username that matches the plugins database but the ID does not. This can be fixed by manually updating the plugin database using a utility such as phpmyadmin. However, considering this is a brain dead approach in the first place – why am I going through all this? Other than that painful error, the plugin works well. BTW – the forum does not contain a complete solution and the topic is closed so i cannot post it.

At first this plug in was like any other plug in, but then we ran into a snag with the Easy Contact Form Database and the original user. Easy Contact Form was quick to respond to our cries for help. We were shooting a deadline video for one of our clients for a thank you video for the redirect page to go to and we couldn’t make any changes. Easy Contact Forms got on top of it quickly, pointed us to the proper FAQ, sent us a video on how to change the situation and also helped us fix our issue. The many facets of this plug-in are outstanding once you understand how to use it, and if you don’t the SUPPORT is by far OUTSTANDING to say the least. Totally Recommend this plug-in for those who want custom forms IT Manager
